Mary H. Waldrip (June 5, 1914 – November 2, 1988) was an American author & editor. She is best known for her quotes published in the Reader's Digest and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She was the one person editor, bookkeeper, writer & ad sales person for The Dawson County Advertiser/News, Dawsonville, Georgia. She was also the author of Kate's Korner column in the newspaper for over 30 years.

Waldrip was born in United States of America, on June 5, 1914. She was married to James R. Waldrip, Publisher of The Dawson County Advertiser/News. She has four children Don Waldrip, Jack Waldrip, Rosalyn W. Neal, and Robert Waldrip. During her early days she had worked as a sunday school teacher, a librarian while also running the newspaper. She later died on November 2, 1988.
