About Author

Kevin Claiborne is rising as one of the most engaging Millennials with fresh strategies that tackle barriers of success for individuals of all ages. In an effort to share his passion for mentoring and motivating others, Kevin released his first published book, 413 Ways To Be Successful on April 13th, 2014. 413 Ways utilizes elements of both book and journal to focus on self-reflection while defining and achieving one's personal meaning of success in all aspects of life. Kevin believes that we all have different definitions of success, and our personal definitions are more important than society's definitions. The book also incorporates the usage of social media via the hashtag #413Ways to allow space for an ongoing discussion about what success means and what it takes to achieve it. Through an interactive approach, 413 Ways helps to redefine traditional notions of success, while placing emphasis on the importance of purpose, passion, and perspective.

Kevin's latest initiative, Supporting Our Young Leaders is a monthly lecture series and weekly podcast that connects Millennials and college students with entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Kevin has presented to college students, faculty, administrators and other professionals on the topics of academic and personal success, and has also presented workshops to higher education professionals at the 2014 OnCourse National Conference and the 2014 Annual Gateway Course Experience Conference. Kevin has also served as a panelist for HuffPostLive, the National Diversity Council College Diversity Summit, Syracuse University, and more. He coordinated the Summer Bridge Programs, the Sankofa African American Male mentoring program, and Student Achievement Advisory Board at Onondaga Community College in 2012 and 2013.

He is a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University and is currently completing his Master's program in Higher Education Administration at Syracuse University...
