William Gregory "Billy" Magnussen (born April 20, 1985) is an American actor.

Magnussen was born in Woodhaven, Queens, New York, the son of Daina, an aerobics instructor, and Greg Magnussen, professional bodybuilder/kickboxer. He is the oldest of three boys, his younger brothers are 5 and 9 years younger than him rerespectively. His maternal grandparents were Lithuanian immigrants. He grew up in Woodhaven until the age of 10, when he moved with his family to Cumming, Georgia. Billy graduated from South Forsyth High School in 2003. Magnussen graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts.

In 2007, he made his Broadway stage debut in The Ritz, starring Rosie Perez.

In 2012, he was cast as Spike, alongside David Hyde Pierce and Sigourney Weaver in Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, premiering at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ prior to its move to Lincoln Center in New York City.
